These days you're more likely to spot Saffy huffing and puffing away behind her buggy, careering it recklessly into the path of unsuspecting oncomers, leaving crushed ankles in her wake, than sitting helplessly in her buggy. But because she's just about as high as her buggy, at first sight it looks like there's a buggy with a mind of its own on the loose, plunging headlong - unaided - into the thickest crowd of shoppers it can find.
