Basket case

Saffron loves to imitate the cartoon characters she watches on telly, from Monsters Inc to The Incredibles. This is her take on the scene in Monsters Inc where Sully and Mike are trying to pacify Boo in their apartment and Mike Wazowski falls into a waste paper basket. Saffron ran to the kitchen to look for a bin (we don't have one, fortunately) but her momentary disappointment was overcome by a brainwave; she ran to her room, emptied the contents of the canvas 'basket' which we use to contain the now epidemic spread of plush toys in the house, and ran back to the lounge with it in tow, and promptly climbed in, very pleased with herself.

Other popular re-enactments include her now legendary "Don't Bernie me!" complete with furrowed eyebrows, American accent and just the right tinge of frustration in her voice, and jumping up and down like a Jack-a-lope.
